Statement
During San Francisco Art Fair, our booth (A16) was shaped by a curatorial vision rooted in both discipline and empathy.

Curated by our co-founder and director, Oliver JingYi Teng, this presentation reflects years of training at one of China’s leading art academies—paired with a deliberate shift toward supporting artists who are still finding their place in the broader landscape. His approach is not just about selection, but about creating context: placing works in conversation, allowing differences in medium, scale, and perspective to speak to one another with intention.

This time, material became language. Across the booth, artists worked with both inherited and unexpected mediums—hand fiber, traditional Chinese mural painting techniques, metal and rust, alongside the quiet directness of oil painting. Rather than treating these as fixed traditions, each artist reshaped them into something personal, forming their own visual vocabulary through process, repetition, and experimentation.

The focus remained clear—bringing forward artists who may not always have access to platforms like this, and giving their work the space and clarity it deserves. Across borders and backgrounds, the booth became a meeting point: between emerging voices and new audiences, between where these artists come from and where they’re going.

We’re grateful to everyone who spent time with us, asked questions, and connected with the work. This is why we do what we do—building pathways, one presentation at a time.
